Glenview, Illinois – Glenview Terrace announced it has earned the prestigious Gold Seal of Approval® Certification for Post-Acute Care and Accreditation for Nursing Care from The Joint Commission, the nation's leading and most respected healthcare accrediting authority.
This advanced certification and accreditation recognizes Glenview Terrace’s high standards for health care quality and safety in post-hospital rehabilitation services and nursing care — as well as for infection prevention and control, leadership and medication management.

Post-acute care (also known as post-hospital care) is for patients who have been hospitalized and need continued medical care at a rehabilitation center such as Glenview Terrace. Post-acute care includes post-surgical care, orthopedic or cardiac rehabilitation, respiratory care and wound care.
