Glenview's Spectacular Holiday In The Park & Parade Returns
The community event, organized by the Glenview Chamber of Commerce, will include a visit from Santa.
GLENVIEW, IL — The Holiday in the Park & Parade, organized by the Glenview Chamber of Commerce, returns in time for the festive season. According to the Chamber, the "bright cherry" holiday event will include free hot cocoa and tasty treats while supplies last, free kiddie train rides, a hayride, photo booth, and a photo op in the interactive snow globe.
The parade begins from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 29, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 1775 Grove St., continuing west down Glenview Road, before culminating in Jackman Park. Santa and his helpers will be at the park to greet children with a gift.
The event is not just about entertaining the community, but also a way for the Chamber and local businesses to thank residents for their support.

"It is so rewarding to be associated with a great chamber that gives back to the community. Seeing all the children's faces light up when they see Santa coming to town makes it all worth it," said Jerry Doetsch, parade committee chairperson for over 20 years.
Holiday in the Park & Parade is supported by sponsors Busey Bank, Compass Real Estate, Glenview Park District, Northern Power Washing and Endeavor Health/Glenbrook Hospital, BOHNHOMES Residential (Compass), Lakefront Creative Group, and RJBullion.
