North Suburban YMCA Announces 2025 Winter/Spring Program Line-Up
Many new programs in STEAM, Visual Arts, Sports, Fitness, for all ages
Northbrook, IL; November 2025 – The North Suburban YMCA has announced an exciting new line-up of Winter/Spring programming, with classes beginning the week of January 6, 2026. Registration is now open online and in person for members and December 8 for non-members.

The Y’s winter offerings feature a wide range of programs for all ages, promoting wellness, healthy living, personal growth, and creativity across fitness, sports, dance, aquatics, children’s enrichment, and the arts.
“Our Winter/Spring season brings some of the most engaging and innovative youth opportunities we’ve ever offered,” said Ricky Gonzalez, Senior Director of Youth Programming. “We’re committed to creating programs that build confidence, connection, and curiosity — whether kids are exploring STEAM, discovering new interests, or finding a place where they feel they belong.”

New this year, we are offering three shorter sessions—Winter Session 1 (1/5–2/22), Winter Session 2 (2/23–4/19), and Spring Session (4/20–6/7). These flexible options give families more room to balance multiple activities and commitments at a more affordable price point. Families may register for a single session or enjoy the full season by enrolling in all three. It’s a great way to experience high-quality programming with the schedule that works best for you. Program Highlights this year include some new programs and events and some old favorites.
Navigator Nights (Grades 6–8)
A monthly social experience designed exclusively for middle schoolers, featuring Y lock-ins, field trips, outings, and age-appropriate activities in a safe, supervised environment. CLICK HERE
Dozin’ With the Dinos (Members Only)
A signature experience through the NSYMCA Adventure Guides Program. Families can enjoy an unforgettable overnight at the Field Museum on January 17–18. CLICK HERE
Gym Jam (Ages 0–5)
A dedicated parent-and-child open gym every Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM. Free for members; non-members may participate for just $5.

Membership at the North Suburban YMCA includes reduced program pricing, priority registration, modern fitness facilities, free group exercise classes, a six-lane pool, sauna, steam room, whirlpool, full-sized gym, three racquetball courts, and more.
Another exciting event is the NSYMCA’s 2nd Annual Kidpalooza on Sunday, February 1 from 12–2 PM. Families can enjoy youth activities, STEM stations, games, bounce houses, face painting, youth vendors, and more. This event is free and open to the community.
