Pedestrian, 72, Fatally Struck By BMW In Glenview: Police

GLENVIEW, IL — A 72-year-old man was killed Thursday night after being struck by a car while he was walking near the intersection of Milwaukee Avenue and Michael Todd Terrace. The driver of the BMW involved was uninjured and remained on scene.

Glenview police and firefighters responded to the incident at around 5:35 p.m. The pedestrian was struck by the car while crossing the roadway westbound through the southbound traffic lanes on Milwaukee Avenue and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash is under investigation by the Glenview Police Department with assistance from the North Regional Major Crimes Task Force’s Major Crash Assistance Team.
