Power Outages Reported After Traffic Crash Takes Power Line Down: Glenview PD

GLENVIEW, IL — A traffic crash has brought a power line down Friday night, causing power outages to the area. According to a community alert from Glenview police, the crash was at Glenview and Waukegan roads.

"Please avoid the intersection and reroute if possible," Glenview police said in the 4:43 p.m. alert. "Traffic is moving slowly, please use extra caution in the area."

Meanwhile, Village Hall is open as a cooling center during the outage for any residents in need of assistance.
