String of Cars Entered Overnight in Glenview, Change and Other Small Items Stolen

All the vehicles were unlocked when burglarized.

The Glenview Police Department reported these similar incidents happening the same night:

  • A resident of the 400 block of Harlem Ave. reported Oct. 15 that someone entered their unlocked vehicle and took their wallet, $30 in change and an athletic bag. The estimated loss is $100.
  • A resident of the 0-100 block of Harlem Ave. reported sometime overnight Oct. 15 someone entered their unlocked vehicle, which was parked on their driveway, and stole $2 in change.
  • A resident of the 400 block of Harlem Ave. reported sometime overnight Oct. 15 someone entered their unlocked vehicle, which was parked on their driveway, and stole $15 in change and a cellphone charger.
  • A resident of the 400 block of Harlem Ave. reported sometime overnight Oct. 15 someone entered their unlocked vehicle, which was parked on their driveway, and stole $5 in change.
  • A resident of the 1700 block of Harrison St. reported sometime overnight Oct. 15 someone entered their unlocked vehicle, which was parked on their driveway, and stole their wallet.
  • A resident of the 300 block of Washington St. reported sometime overnight Oct. 15 someone entered their unlocked vehicle, which was parked on their driveway, and rummaged through several of the vehicle’s compartments. Nothing was taken.
  • A resident of the 400 block of Washington St. reported sometime overnight Oct. 15 someone entered their unlocked vehicle, which was parked on their driveway, and went through several of the vehicle’s compartments. Nothing was taken.
  • A resident of the 300 block of Nordica Ave. reported sometime overnight Oct. 15 someone entered their unlocked vehicle, which was parked on their driveway, and stole approximately $2 in change.
