2 Found Dead Days Apart In Round Lake Park Home: Police
According to police, a woman died Aug. 16 after being found at a Round Lake Park home, nearly 2 days before a man died there.
ROUND LAKE PARK, IL — The Lake County Coroner's Office is helping the Round Lake Park Police Department with two death investigations in the 500 Block of Arbor Drive, Round Lake Park, according to a release from the police department. Police said the deaths took place nearly two days apart, the first involving a 44-year-old Chicago woman and the second involving a 44-year-old Round Lake Park man. Police say early information from their investigation shows both people knew each other and might have been in a relationship.
According to the release, officers responded to the 500 block of Arbor Drive around 9:50 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16, due to a report of an unresponsive female, who was taken to Condell Hospital in Libertyville and was later pronounced dead.
Around 11 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, police responded to same same address for a report of an unresponsive male, who according to the release was pronounced dead on site.

Items found at the scene indicate narcotics may have played a role in both deaths, according to the release, although the cause of death hasn't officially been determined. An autopsy for the woman has been scheduled for 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 19.
