2 Hospitalized After Grayslake Crash Involving Dump Truck, 4 SUVs
Fire officials said a dump truck rear-ended an SUV on NB 137 at Atkinson Road, causing a chain-reaction, according to a news report.
GRAYSLAKE, IL — Two people were hospitalized after a crash involving a dump truck and four SUVS Tuesday on Route 137 at Atkinson Road in Grayslake, the Chicago Tribune reported, according to Grayslake Fire Department officials. The Chicago Tribune said initial reports show that around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday a dump truck rear-ended an SUV in the northbound lanes, creating a chain-reaction with four SUVs in front of the truck, Grayslake Fire Department Battalion Chief Joris Lillge reported.
According to Lillge, two woman were taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatning injuries.
