Fashion And Fondue Night Fundraiser At GCHS
Chocolate fondue, prom dresses and manicures will all be part of a special fundraiser for Bare Necessities at Grayslake Central High School at 7 p.m. Feb. 16.
The community is invited to attend a special fundraiser, Fashion and Fondue Night, at 7 p.m. Feb. 16. The event will be held in the big gym at
Fashion and Fondue Night will feature girls from the Public Service Practicum classes at Grayslake Central modeling prom dresses from Volle's Bridal Boutique in Lake Zurich.
There will be chocolate fondue and various raffle prizes donated by local businesses. Girls will also be able to get their nails done during the event. Dustin Chierico is the advisor of the PSP classes at Central, which organize different community service projects each year.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Bear Necessities pediatric cancer foundation. Both Grayslake Central and Grayslake North High Schools are supporting this charity this year.
"It will be a fun night," said Sarah Ahern, a senior at GCHS. "We'll have chocolate fondue and gorgeous prom dressses. Knowing that the proceeds go towards a good cause makes it all the better."

The event goes from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday night. Tickets are $5 for the Fashion Show or $10 for Food and Fashion.
