GMS to Present Winter Musical "Guys and Dolls"

Tickets go on sale Dec. 6 for the Grayslake Middle School's performance of a classic musical.

The cast of the winter musical Guys and Dolls treated the audience of a recent school board meeting to a rousing performance of selected songs including A Bushel and a Peck.

The musical, which follows petty criminals and gamblers in 1940s New York City, was made into a popular 1955 film starring Marlon Brando and Frank Sinatra.

The Grayslake Middle School cast has been practicing for their opening night performance of Guys and Dolls at 7 p.m. Dec. 8. Shows also are scheduled at 7 p.m. Dec. 9 and 10.

Tickets are $5 and go on sale Dec. 6.
