Professional Figure Skaters, Shoot-The-Puck Contest: Skate In The Park Is This Weekend

GRAYSLAKE, IL — Professional skaters, skating lessons and a shoot-the-puck contest will take place at this weekend's Skate in the Park in Grayslake.
The free event will run from 12 to 3 p.m. on Saturday at Gelatin Park, 250 Library Lane in Grayslake, according to the Grayslake Chamber of Commerce. The event begins at noon with professional figure skaters taking to the ice.
Afterward, area residents can enjoy an open skate — be sure to bring your own ice skates — and the shoot the puck contest. There will also be a bonfire, hot chocolate, s'mores and more.
