Grayslake Central High School Announces Winter Music Concerts

Upcoming GCHS winter programs will kick off the holiday season.

The Music Department announces its list of winter program dates:

  • Thursday, Dec. 1: Jazz Night at 7:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Dec. 6:  Central Winter Choir Concert at 7:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Dec. 13:  Central Winter Band Concert at 7:30 p.m.

All concerts will be held at the Grayslake Central High School Theatre, 400 Lake Street, and all concerts are free to Choir and Band Booster members. Non-booster tickets are $3 for adults, $2 for senior citizens, and free for District #127 students with ID.

For best seating, it is recommended to reserve tickets, either online or at the box office. To reserve online, please refer to d127.org and click on Fine Arts, then click on “Order tickets” on the left margin of the webpage.

The box office is located to the right of the main school entrance at Grayslake Central High School. The box office will be open on the nights of concerts at 6 p.m.

Music directors at GCHS are Jennifer White and Dominic Bertino, with Paul Nielsen directing the Central Jazz Band. Renee Gugel is the Fine Arts department chair.
