Grayslake Library Foundation Hosts Annual MiniGolf Fundraiser

From Grayslake Area Public Library District: The Grayslake Library Foundation's fifth Annual MiniGolf in the Library fundraising event is on Saturday, February 25 and Sunday, February 26, 2017. MiniGolf is sponsored by the Grayslake Library Foundation, a 501(c) 3 and will have family-friendly competitions in the afternoon on both the 25th and 26 th from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. An adults-only event will take place in the evening on Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 7:00 – 10:00 pm.

Bogey in the library with your friends at this fun after-hours event. After a round of MiniGolf hang out in the clubhouse and quench your thirst with adult beverages for purchase from The Vine of Grayslake. Enjoy music and score tasty treats from the Dessert Extravaganza included with your ticket purchase.

Sponsors of this year’s Dessert Extravaganza with coffee are: The Grayslake Exchange Club, Joyce Campbell Insurance Agency, Inc., Kirsten Howe, Churchill, Quinn, Richtman & Hamilton, Ltd. and D127 Superintendent Dr. Catherine Finger. The Vine of Grayslake will also host a cash bar with a variety of craft beer, wine, and add-ins for coffee cocktails.

Space is limited and tickets are available starting now at the library, cash or check only. Greens fees for the family friendly afternoon sessions are $5 each and include ice cream. Participants must be 21 or better to attend the evening event and the ticket cost is $20.

The library will remain open for regular business hours of Saturday, 9:30 am – 5:00 pm and Sunday 1:00 – 5:00 pm, however MiniGolf will take place on both floors and library patrons will be course hazards.
