Mr. Spanky Wants To Join Your Family

I’ll be the first one to recognize that I get quite anxious when I am left alone, but I am lovable. Who doesn’t prefer to have company during the day?

Unfortunately, over the years, my family said that my separation anxiety had gotten worse and felt that they could no longer provide the best environment for me. I lived with another dog and two cats and did well overall with them.

I can be a bit protective of my bones and toys around other dogs but that can easily be handled. They said that I was a great listener, even off-leash. I am very affectionate and love to snuggle under covers. I am really well-behaved and quiet in the house but really don’t like to be left alone for extended periods of time.

In the summer, I love the water and will happily “fish” for toys. I even got to participate in the walk for Save-A-Pet and did quite well. If you are looking for a sensitive dog that enjoys moderate exercise but needs a lot of loving, then don’t make me wait any longer. Every day I am here, waiting for you with lots of love to give...

Mr. Spanky is about 5 years old, neutered, and is up-to-date on routine shots and rabies. He is also heartworm negative, on preventative medication and is microchipped.
