Obituary: Frances Aleckson
A memorial service for Frances Aleckson, of Round Lake, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the Chapel in Grayslake.
Frances Aleckson, a 90-year-old Round Lake resident, passed away Dec. 25, at Winchester House in Libertyville.
She was born in Chicago to the now late Francis and Isabelle {nee Crowe} Howell on June 1, 1922, and raised by her now late grandparents John and Harriet Crowe.
Frances was the loving mother of Bob (Dana) Aleckson, Paul (Susan) Aleckson, Pam Dedrick, and Mark Aleckson; the beloved grandmother of Steven (Jen) Aleckson, Mike (Heather) Aleckson, Kristen (Craig) Swanson, Robert Dedrick, Kerry Heiple, Kaylee “Gracie” Aleckson, and Barbara (Max) Hazen; cherished great-grandmother of Charlie, Grace, Kristen, Alton, Hanna, Ethan, and Jackson; the dear sister of John and Christopher McClory; fond mother-in-law of Judy Aleckson.

Her husband John W. “Bill” Aleckson and son John A. “Andy” Aleckson preceded her in death.
