Slam Funk To Perform At Grayslake Heritage Center

Slam Funk, an extra-curricular performing group comprised of students from Grayslake North and Grayslake Central High Schools, will perform a special free concert at the , 164 Hawley Street. The public is invited to the show at 7 p.m. Friday, May 25. 

They specialize in learning and performing music from the height of Motown Records. They cover hit songs from The Temptations, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, The Supremes, Smokey Robinson and others. 

Slam Funk will perform in the museum’s courtyard, with a rain location in the museum’s community room. The museum’s exhibitions will be open before and after the concert.
