Volunteers Sought for Color Aloft Balloon Festival

Want to do a little more than just admire the beautiful balloons at this Saturday's Color Aloft festival in Central Park?

Trustee Bruce Bassett said volunteers are being sought to help out with the balloon ground crew. 

"Anybody interested in helping out with a balloon ground crew should come to the roped-off balloon area at the west side of the park (across from Grayslake Central High School) by 5 p.m. Pilots will provide training," Bassett said. "We will have seven balloons flying and additional balloon (and balloonmeister) tethered for the duration of the event."
