The Hinsdale Central boys tennis team, which won the IHSA state title last month, was honored by the District 86 Board of Education Monday night.
Head coach John Naisbitt was on hand to say a few words about his team, which went undefeated in 2013 and won a national tournament in March that included 15 state champions from other states.
The coach said couldn't be more proud of his players.
"We're the best team in the state, but we’re also one of the best in the United States, and that’s a fact," Naisbitt said.
