4 Juveniles In Custody After Crashing Stolen Car: Flossmoor PD
The crash happened in the 3200 block of Vollmer Road Wednesday afternoon, police said.
FLOSSMOOR, IL — Four juveniles are in custody Wednesday, after a crash involving a stolen car, Flossmoor police said.
Police were called Wednesday at 2:17 p.m. for a report of a suspicious vehicle crash in the 3200 block of Vollmer Road, police said. Multiple male occupants were reported to have fled the accident scene on foot, police said.
One of the male occupants was confirmed to have a firearm in his possession.

Police determined that the occupants of the vehicle were observed speeding through a neighboring community prior to crashing the vehicle in Flossmoor. Follow-up investigation determined the vehicle had been stolen.
Flossmoor officers searched the vicinity of the accident scene with the assistance of the Olympia Fields Police Department. The four juvenile suspects were located and taken into custody by police without incident. There were no injuries related to the incident, police said.
