Both businesses were broken into the week of April 10–14, Flossmoor police said.

FLOSSMOOR, IL — Two businesses on the same block were burglarized just days apart last week, Flossmoor police said Monday.

The businesses are on the 3000 block of Vollmer Road, police said. One was burglarized Tuesday, April 11; the second was hit Friday, April 14. Both happened in the early morning hours, police said.

The burglars got into the businesses by breaking the glass of the main entrances. The suspects targeted cash registers. An empty cash register was stolen from one of the businesses, while a small amount of currency was stolen from the other business, police said.
