Homewood Village Clerk Resigns; Condos May Become Rentals: On the Agenda

Those who are late on their water bills, listen up. The board will be voting on new fees to get water service turned back on after shutoff due to negligent payments.

Flosswood Condos to be Converted to Apartments
The board will be voting on an ordinance amendment to allow rental of the current condo units at Flosswood Station, 2321 183rd Street. The request was sent in by Brian Finnigen of Old National Bank.

Village Clerk Resignation
After nearly 10 years, Gayle Campbell is resigning from the position of Homewood Village Clerk. Campbell has also occupied other roles in local government, including the position of village liaison to the Homewood Heritage Committee. Karen Washington will fill Campbell’s former position until the next election in spring of 2013.
