Homewood Wants Feedback On Building Design, Architecture Guidelines

Officials are asking residents to participate in a survey about the appearance and design of buildings within Homewood.

HOMEWOOD, IL — Homewood officials are asking for the public's input on the look and design of buildings within its limits.

In an online survey issued to residents, officials are asking for feedback on the Village Appearance Plan—a set of design guidelines which most new buildings or projects in the Village must adhere to. These guidelines provide an opportunity for Village residents to have a direct say about the future of building design in Homewood, officials said.

Officials will use the feedback gathered in the survey to write design guidelines which "carefully reflect the most beloved buildings and public spaces across the Village, and ensure a high quality built environment in Homewood for many years to come."
