Interstate Shooting Leaves 1 Wounded

The wounded man drove himself to Ingalls Memorial Hospital.

MARKHAM, IL — A man was wounded Sunday morning when he was fired on by someone in a vehicle that pulled alongside him on Interstate 294.

The targeted man was driving north on I-294 when the other vehicle came up next to him at Plaza 41 in Markham.

The wounded man drove himself to Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey. The state police said his injuries were not life-threatening.
