Jury Awards $8 Million in Homewood Woman's Tollway Death
Stacey McHale, 36, had pulled to the side of the Tri-State Tollway in 2010 to check on a flat tire when she was struck and killed by a truck, according to a report.

The family of a Homewood woman killed on the Tri-State Tollway in 2010 has received an $8 million verdict in their favor, Sun-Times Media reports.
Stacey McHale, 36, of Homewood, had pulled to the side the tollway on Feb. 15, 2010 because of a flat tire, according to the report. While checking the tire, the mother of two children was struck and killed by a semi truck.
A Cook County jury awarded the figured in a case that includes defendants Transfreight LLC and Kiswani Trucking Inc.
