1 Killed In Multi-Vehicle Crash Tuesday: Homewood PD
The crash happened Tuesday afternoon in the 17800 block of Halsted Street.
HOMEWOOD, IL — One driver was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Halsted Street in Homewood Tuesday, police said.
Police were called just before noon to the scene of the crash in the 17800 block of Halsted Street. The crash involved a grey Chevy sedan, a Ford SUV, and a semi-truck.
The driver of the Ford SUV was dead at the scene, police said. The driver of the Chevy Sedan was treated for injuries and taken to a local hospital. The driver of the semi-truck was not injured. The identity of all individuals involved is being withheld pending the notification of family.

The circumstances of the crash are under investigation by the Homewood Police Department Criminal Investigations Unit with assistance from the Suburban Major Accident Reconstruction Team (SMART).
