Shots Fired, Shell Casings Found After Argument: Homewood PD

HOMEWOOD, IL — Homewood police are investigating after a call of shots fired in the 17500 block of Dixie Highway Saturday night.

Police were called to the location just after 8 p.m. Saturday, for a report of people arguing and shots fired. Officers checked the surrounding area and did not locate an immediate threat or the parties involved. Responding officers located several shell casings in the area.

Police believe it was an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the public.
