15-Year-Old Joliet Girl Stabbed Another Teen During Alley Fight: Cops
The Joliet Central High School student faces aggravated battery charges after police said she stabbed another girl in the hand and leg.

JOLIET, IL — A 15-year-old Joliet girl was arrested Monday after police said that she stabbed another teenage girl during an argument earlier in the day.
Police were called to the McDonald’s at 508 Cass Street just after 8:30 a.m. Monday for a report of a disturbance and found a 15-year-old girl with stab wounds to her right hand and left leg, police said. An investigation determined that the girl had been involved in a fight in an alley in the 400 block of East Cass Street.
During the fight, the 15-year-old suspect pulled out a knife and swung it at the victim, cutting her in the hand and in the leg, police said. The victim was taken to Ascension St. Joseph Medical Center for her injuries and police said they found the knife at the scene.

Police learned that the suspect is a student at Joliet Central High School, where she was arrested and taken into custody, police said. She has been charged with aggravated battery, police said, and is being held at the River Valley Justice Center.
