Aggravated Mom Crashed Into Car While Driving Around With Baby Girl in Back Seat: Cops
The Joliet woman got aggravated when the child's father would not speak with her, police said.

Raven Hughes, 21, had headed over to Bellarmine Drive to pick up her 10-month-old daughter about 5 a.m. Wednesday.
Hughes demanded to speak with the child’s father but he refused to come outside, police said.
“This aggravated Hughes,” police said.
Two women reportedly told police that they heard Hughes threaten the child’s father, saying, “If you don’t come outside, I’m going to tear this car up.”
Hughes proceeded to tear up a 2015 Nissan Sentra by backing her 2003 Oldsmobile Alero into it twice, police said. The Sentra was knocked into a Dodge sport utility vehicle and damaged it as well.
The baby’s father was uncooperative when officers attempted to speak with him, police said.
Officers reportedly tracked Hughes down to her mother’s home on Gael Drive. The baby was with her and was uninjured.
Hughes was taken into custody and charged with criminal damage to property and endangering the life or health of a child. She was released on her own recognizance.
