Bullet Passes Through Baggy Pants, Narrowly Missing Man’s Groin, 2nd Man Less Lucky: Police
The second man was shot twice in the stomach and once in the thigh, police said.

JOLIET, IL — Gunfire erupted during a street fight between two women at a Memorial Day party on Baker Avenue, leaving one man grievously wounded and a second lucky to just have a bullet hole in the crotch of his baggy pants, police said.
Police responded to a call of gunshots on Baker near Third Avenue shortly after 11 p.m. Monday and determined two women had been fighting in the street when someone opened fire.
While a 21-year-old man was fortunate enough to only have his pants ruined by a bullet, a second man turned up at the Silver Cross Hospital emergency room with two bullet wounds to his abdomen and one to his left thigh. Silver Cross staff reportedly alerted the law after the 27-year-old arrived. The police believe he had been dropped off at the hospital by a friend.
