Crest Hill House Fire Leaves Family Displaced On Kingsbrook Drive
The fire was upgraded to a full-still which brought in mutual aid assistance from Romeoville and Plainfield Fire Departments to the scene.

CREST HILL — The Lockport Township Fire Protection District extinguished a burning house on Monday evening around dinner time that caused significant damage.
According to deputy fire chief James Grady:
At approximately 5:45 p.m., the Lockport Township Fire Protection District responded to a reported garage fire in the 20400 Block of Kingsbrook Drive in Crest Hill.

Crews got the fire under control quickly, and the fire which appeared to start in the garage extended into the two-story home causing significant damage to the garage and to the house. The fire left the home uninhabitable. The residents were able to safely exit.
Utilities to the home were disconnected.

Crest Hill Building Department was on scene and assessed the residence.

The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time and is being investigated by the Lockport Fire Investigators.
