The Cellar Has 2 Overnight Visitors And That's A Crime: Will County Prosecutors
Criminal Charges For 2 People Who Visited The Cellar On Patterson Road

JOLIET, IL — More than a year has passed since Joliet Patch brought you a real estate story about The Cellar, Joliet Township's former gentleman's club at 111 Patterson Road. Now, thanks to a Will County Sheriff's investigation, two young men from the area are facing criminal charges at the Will County Courthouse in connection with their late-night visit inside The Cellar property.
According to the criminal complaints, Timothy Jarvis, 28, of Daniels Street in Bolingbrook has been charged with criminal trespass, and so has Bradley Adler, age 29, who comes from Townsend Boulevard in Plainfield.
The complaint indicates that on April 29, both defendants knowingly and without lawful authority entered or remained within a building under renovation at 111 Patterson Road in Joliet. Will County court documents indicate Alder and Jarvis were arrested at 2:21 a.m. by Will County Sheriff's deputies.

In April 2024, Joliet Patch reported that The Cellar, a long-time strip tease establishment in unincorporated Joliet, was looking for a new property owner. The property on Patterson Road was built way back in 1953, and Re/Max was trying to sell it for $550,000 after originally trying to sell for $750,000.
"This exceptional property is now available at the irresistible price of $550,000, marking a significant price reduction," Re/Max declared last year. "Situated in unincorporated Joliet, these taxes are insanely low. This location presents an ideal setting for a myriad of commercial endeavors."
