Man Made Death Threats, Tried To Jump Into Drive-Thru Window: JPD
The victim told officers that he and 28-year-old Everett Oxendine got into an argument over a spilled drink, Joliet police said.

JOLIET — For the second week in a row, 28-year-old Everett Oxendine is in the Will County jail, but unlike his first arrest, this time he's staying in the Will County Jail following which police described as a violent encounter with several people — and several parked vehicles — near the Wendy's Restaurant on Plainfield Road, Joliet police arrest reports show.
A resident of Romeoville, Oxendine was booked into the jail this week by Joliet police on charges of violation of conditions of pretrial release, obstructing justice, aggravated assault, two counts of disorderly conduct and felony criminal damage to property.
According to Joliet police spokesman Tizoc Landeros, at about 11 a.m. Monday, officers responded to the 2900 block of Colorado Avenue for a report of someone kicking several vehicles in the parking lot.

As officers arrived in the area, they met one of the victims. The victim told officers that he and Oxendine got into an argument over a spilled drink.
Oxendine told the victim he had a gun and made several death threats, Landeros said. According to bystanders, Oxendine began to kick several vehicles, causing damage. Oxendine then tried to jump into the drive up window of a nearby fast-food restaurant, police said.

Joliet police found Oxendine nearby and took him into custody. Oxendine was not in possession of any guns, according to Landeros, who said officers learned that Oxendine was released on Nov. 28 from the Will County Adult Detention Facility on several charges of retail theft and trespassing.
Landeros pointed out that while the officers attempted to process Oxendine, he became uncooperative. He obstructed the booking process by preventing the officers from completing their duties. Oxendine was ultimately taken to the jail without further incident.
