Here's What Your Joliet City Hall Officials Make, So Far, In 2025
The taxpayers of Joliet fund the salaries of city of Joliet. Here's a look at what many of your full-time staff at City Hall are making now.

JOLIET — There have been a lot of new employees hired for various jobs and a number of new positions created at the City of Joliet since Terry D'Arcy became the mayor of Joliet in May of 2023. Joliet has also seen substantial turnover for several department heads including legal, city clerk, neighborhood services, community development and economic development.
But what are City Hall staff making nowadays? That information is not easily accessible on the city of Joliet's website. It's posted on the website, as required annually by state transparency laws, but the compensation data that Joliet posts does not list the employee's job title or the employee's base salary, only the person's name and total annual pay.
In an effort to bring readers greater transparency on how Joliet City Hall tax dollars are being spent, Joliet Patch has obtained the latest salary data focusing on the non-union full-time staff employed inside Joliet's City Hall. This particular story does not focus on the employee pay at the Joliet Police, Fire Departments and Public Works Division, who are part of labor unions.
