Plainfield North Teacher Stabbed to Death by Husband in Murder-Suicide
A Plainfield North High School teacher was stabbed to death by her husband, who walked onto Interstate 55 and was hit by a tractor-trailer and a car.
Susan Cunningham, 47, was found with multiple stab wounds Tuesday night at her Prairie Grove Court home. She was taken to Rushley-Copley Medical Center, where she died.
Just minutes after Cunningham was found, her husband, Craig Cunningham, 46, walked onto I-55 and was killed.

- A Palos Hills man and disabled Vietnam veteran was beaten, kicked, and thrown to the ground during what he and his wife are calling a vicious attack by a 21-year-old man.
