Inmate Tosses Cup Of Urine, Strikes Employee In Will County Jail. Sheriff

JOLIET, IL — Stacy Davis, one of the longer-serving inmates in the Will County Jail, whose armed robbery and carjacking case has yet to go to trial, was involved in an incident this week with a Will County Sheriff's corrections officer, the agency announced on Facebook.

According to Will County, on Monday morning, deputies responded to the Will County Adult Detention Facility following a report of an incident involving an inmate.

According to the jail facility's personnel, shortly after 7 a.m., Davis threw a cup of urine, striking a correctional officer on multiple parts of his body and hitting a civilian employee in the face.

As a result of the incident, the 22-year-old Davis is now charged with aggravated battery and battery. Davis was already in custody with no bond on multiple charges, including aggravated vehicular hijacking and armed robbery, and he has been detained at the jail since December 2020.
