Jailed Joliet Man Caught With Ecstasy In His Sock: Cops

The Joliet man had been picked up a few hours earlier on a couple warrants.

A Joliet man already in jail on a couple warrants got into even more trouble when the cops found ecstasy hidden in his sock, police said.

Wanted man Jermaine Parrish, 35, was picked up at a residence on Hyde Park Avenue about 11:15 p.m. Sunday, police said.

He was processed at the police station and taken to the Will County jail. After he got there, officers found ecstasy pills hidden in his right sock, police said.

Parrish was slapped with additional charges of possession of a controlled substance and bringing contraband into a penal institution.
