Mark was born on February 16, 1960, in Joliet, Illinois, to the late Mary Frances (McGinnis) and Elwin Nail Clark. He was raised, educated, and spent most of his life in Joliet, a community he proudly called home.
Mark lived life loudly and brightly. His confident presence filled every room he entered, and his quick wit and infectious laugh had a way of bringing people together. A natural storyteller and jokester, Mark loved making others laugh and never missed a chance to lighten the moment. Beneath his bold personality was a deeply loyal and hardworking man—someone who showed up for the people he loved without hesitation and gave his whole heart in everything he did.
