Joliet Catholic Academy: 22 Students Named IL State Scholars

JOLIET — Joliet Catholic Academy President/Principal Dr. Jeffrey Budz is proud to announce that 22 members of the Class of 2025 have been named Illinois State Scholars by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission. The State Scholar Program recognizes students across all class levels for outstanding academic achievement.

“We are very proud of our students who earned Illinois State Scholar status,” said Dr. Budz. “These individuals put in much time and effort to achieve academic success with many of them going above and beyond in and out of the classroom. We know that this will not be the last time they achieve such an extraordinary accomplishment, for they all have many great successes ahead of them.”

The following JCA students were named Illinois State Scholars: Adam Bailey, Zachary Beitler, Francis Berman, Kevin Casey, Gianna Chiappini, Tyler Czerak. Jenna Denardis, Nicholas Egizio, Olivia Emerson, Madison Fleck, Zoe Girard, Lucas Grant, Jake Jakovich, Adam Kafka, Xander Keating, James Kopman, Samuel Kottman, Grace Laird, Kathryn Leeders, Brooke Simon-Chenelle, Molly Vershay, and Aleksander Wenzel.
