Joliet Getting Rid of More Trees

The city continues its struggle against the emerald ash borer.

JOLIET, IL — In its continuing struggle with the scourge of the emerald ash borer, the City of Joliet will cut down even more trees on Sunday.

The city has already cut down trees in 19 subdivisions during two previous campaigns this year.

This time, they will be cutting wood from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the following areas:
