Joliet House Shot Up Overnight, 2 Cars Also Hit By Bullets: JPD
No arrests have been made in reference to the shooting in the Forest Park neighborhood.

JOLIET — Even though the Joliet Police Department has made two arrests in connection with January's house shootings in the 300 block of Youngs Avenue, a new shooting happened, this time targeting a house in a different part of the community: the Forest Park Neighborhood.
Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English issued a news release indicating that Joliet police responded to the latest gun violence during the early hours of Sunday.
According to English, at 2:44 a.m., the officers responded to the 1200 block of Hague Street for a house struck by gunfire. The officers discovered the house had been struck by multiple rounds of gunfire. Two unoccupied vehicles parked outside the house were also struck by the bullets.

The house was occupied at the time of the shooting; however, no injuries were reported. Officers discovered numerous spent shell casings following a canvass of the area. No arrests have been made in reference to this shooting.
