Joliet Robbery On Hickory St.: 2 People On Pretrial Release Arrested
Upon further investigation into this incident, Tillman and Williams were both identified as suspects in this robbery, Joliet police say.

JOLIET— The Joliet Police Department issued a press release on Thursday revealing that last weekend's robbery on Hickory Street has been solved with a pair of arrests: 28-year-old Joliet citizen Deon Tillman was put into the Will County Jail on charges of robbery and violation of pretrial release.
As for Anasia Williams, the 23-year-old from Crest Hill, she was put into the jail, too, on charges of unlawful use of a credit card, retail theft and violation of pretrial release.
Joliet Police Spokesman Dwayne English said at 12:31 a.m. Jan. 4, officers responded to a report of a robbery near West Jefferson and North Hickory Streets.

The victim reported being assaulted and robbed after escorting a female acquaintance to an apartment in the 100 block of North Hickory Street.
After entering the building at the request of his acquaintance, the victim was confronted by an unknown man and a woman.

According to police, he was punched, kicked, and forced to the ground, during which his wallet, containing cash and credit cards, was stolen. Shortly after, unauthorized purchases were made using his credit card at a nearby gas station and restaurant.
The victim suffered injuries but declined medical treatment at the scene.
English said that Tillman and Williams were both identified as the suspects in this robbery. Officers located Williams on Monday, at 1:15 p.m., in the parking lot of Riverwalk Homes, 362 N. Broadway St., and she was placed into custody.
Williams was also charged after being identified as a suspect in a retail theft that occurred at the Burlington store at 1300 North Larkin Avenue on Christmas Eve, police said.
As for Tillman, the 28-year-0ld was placed into custody without incident later that day at 4:54 p.m., while walking near Division Street and North Broadway Street. It was determined that both were under pretrial release conditions due to past arrests.
Tillman was wearing an ankle monitor at the time of his arrest, English pointed out.
