Joliet Woman, 40, Jailed On 3 Domestic Battery Charges: Police
Detectives investigating this case obtained an arrest warrant for Martinez-Ramirez for three counts of Domestic Battery on December 16.

JOLIET —The Joliet Police Department announced that 40-year-old resident Nancy Martinez-Ramirez is now in the Will County Jail facing three counts of domestic battery. She was arrested on Tuesday in connection with violent behavior that happened in late November.
According to Joliet police reports, officers responded to a house in the 300 block of Wilson Avenue at 1:03 p.m. Nov. 24, for a report of a past tense domestic disturbance. It was reported to the officers that at approximately 2:00 a.m., Martinez-Ramirez had allegedly grown angry and attacked her ex-boyfriend while they both were in the 400 block of Fourth Avenue.
Detectives investigating this case obtained an arrest warrant for Martinez-Ramirez for three counts of domestic battery on Dec. 16.

Martinez-Ramirez was placed into custody without incident just before 7 p.m. Feb. 4, in the 500 block of East Jackson Street after the officers responded to a disturbance between, she and the victim in this case.
