Kayla Patton Back In Jail, 10 New Charges By Joliet Police: Complaint
This marks the fourth time Kayla Patton, 36, has been in the Will County Jail since December 2023. This time, she faces drug dealing counts.

JOLIET — Joliet resident Kayla Patton finds herself being detained once again in Will County Jail. This time, Joliet police have filed 10 criminal charges against her. Thursday's criminal complaint charges Patton with delivery of a controlled substance, fentanyl, on July 20, 2023.
The rest of her charges and dates of her alleged crimes are as follows:
- Unlawful possession of a controlled substance, July 20, 2023
- Delivery of a controlled substance, July 25, 2023
- Unlawful possession of a controlled substance, July 25, 2023
- Delivery of a controlled substance, July 31, 2023
- Delivery of a controlled substance, July 31, 2023
- Unlawful delivery of methamphetamine, less than 5 grams, July 31, 2023
- Unlawful possession of a controlled substance, July 31, 2023
- Unlawful possession of a controlled substance, July 31, 2023, containing heroin.
- Unlawful possession of methamphetamine, July 31, 2023, less than 5 grams.
Will County Jail records indicate that Patton has been kept in the Will County Jail since Jan. 23. Her most recent address is in Preston Heights, the 300 block of Louis Road. Patton has been the subject of multiple Joliet Patch crime stories from recent years.
