Man Arrested In Connection With Bar Shooting That Injured 3: Police
The 33-year-old Plainfield man faces charges for allegations he fired a gun outside the Eden Bar and Grill in Joliet in September.
JOLIET — A 33-year-old Plainfield man has been arrested in connection with a September shooting at a Joliet bar that left three women with injuries, authorities said.
Keenan Watt was taken into custody on Friday night. He's been charged with three counts of aggravated battery, armed habitual criminal and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon by a felon.
During an investigation into the Sept. 22 shooting at Eden Bar and Grill, 926 Gardner Street, police linked Watt to the crime, according to a news release from police. Police say Watt fired his gun outside the bar.

Three patrons inside the bar sustained injuries from gunshot wounds, authorities said, including a 29-year-old man, who suffered three gunshot wounds to the lower body; a 31-year-old woman, who had a gunshot wound to the right ankle; and a 25-year-old woman, who had a gunshot wound to the right leg, English said. All were taken to area hospitals with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Watt on Oct. 15. At about 8 p.m. on Friday, members of the US Marshals Great Lakes Fugitive Task Force learned Watt was inside a home in the 7700 block of Oleander Drive in the Clublands Subdivision on Joliet’s far west side, police said.

Members of the Joliet Police Special Operation Squad and Crisis Negotiation Team responded to the scene, and a perimeter was established around the home. A short time later, Watt walked out of the home and was taken into custody.
Watt was transported to the Joliet Police Department for processing and then transferred to the Will County Adult Detention Facility, according to authorities.
