Man Slain in Joliet Trailer Park Identified But Family Not Yet Found
The man's family reportedly lives in Texas.
A man found slain in his trailer three days ago was identified through dental records but his family has yet to be found and told he is dead.
The 60-year-old man had been stabbed multiple times in his back and side. He had not been seen outside his home in the Criswell Court trailer park in nearly a week, neighbors said. A stench coming from his trailer troubled Criswell Court resident Linda Wilkerson, and she alerted trailer park owner Austin Criswell.
Police spent all of Tuesday at the trailer park off Cass Street investigating the death, Criswell said.

While officials succeeded in identifying the dead man, his family is still being sought so they can be told of his death. His next-of-kin live in Texas, an official said.
