New Orleans North Won't Happen On Joliet's Downtown Streets Again

JOLIET — The Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce & Industry announced on Thursday that the New Orleans North Music Festival presented by Harrah’s Joliet will return to the Joliet Slammers Stadium on Friday, August 15. All things NOLA (New Orleans, Louisiana) will once again descend upon this Downtown Joliet location.

The event will celebrate the rich traditions of New Orleans culture, offering locals a unique chance to experience the essence of the city without boarding a plane. As attendees enter the gates of the Joliet Slammers Stadium, they’ll be immersed in the sights, sounds, and aromas of the French Quarter, leaving the outside world behind.

“Witnessing the untapped potential of New Orleans North at the Joliet Slammers Stadium in 2024 ignited a new flame in the event committee and our Chamber staff,” said Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce & Industry President Jen Howard. “This year, guests can expect the time-honored elements they have come to know and love, while also being treated to new experiences and exciting additions that will make this year’s event truly unforgettable.”

One exciting new addition is the ‘Ultimate Access Pass: GA + Rooftop Experience.’ This exclusive $30 VIP ticket grants entry to the event plus access to a premium rooftop viewing area overlooking the main stage. This year, the main stage is set on the center field concourse behind the scoreboard, while the rooftop viewing area sits atop ‘The Yard’ concession stand in left field. With only 50 tickets available, this is a can’t-miss opportunity for an elevated festival experience.

Pricing will increase to $20 per ticket 24-hours prior to the gates opening and entry will be $20 at the gate.
