No Injuries Reported As Early-Morning Fire Engulfs Joliet Garage: FD
Crews from multiple stations were called to a Center Street residence where firefighters found a detached two-car garage on fire.

JOLIET, IL — No one was injured in an early-morning fire on Friday that engulfed a detached garage at a Joliet residence, fire officials said.
The fire was reported at 1:30 a.m. and crews were called to the 900 block of North Center Street. Firefighters arrived within four minutes, officials said and found heavy fire coming from the two-car garage.
Officials said that firefighters used multiple hose lines to attack the fire and protect the nearby structures. The fire was under control by 1:46 a.m. and Commonwealth Edison crews arrived to assess possible damage to nearby powerlines, Joliet fire officials said.

The fire, which four Joliet fire stations handled, remains under investigation. Fire officials did not provide any estimated damage figures caused by the fire.
