Child Pornography Defendant Arrested, Attacked 2 Motorists On Caton Farm Road In 2024: Prosecutors
Now 23 years old, Jeremy Ledesma was booked into the Will County Jail around 4 p.m. Thursday. He faces three child pornography crimes.

JOLIET, IL — For the second time in three years, Jeremy Ledesma of the Plainfield area is in the Will County Jail, and this time, his criminal charges are far more serious. The Will County Sheriff's Office arrested the 23-year-old Ledesma on Thursday and he was booked into custody around 4 p.m.
Prosecutors have charged Ledesma with three crimes involving child pornography. Court documents indicate that the crimes all happened between Feb. 15-17, 2025. Ledesma will make his first appearance at the Will County Courthouse in connection with his child pornography cases on Friday morning before Will County Judge Amy Bertani-Tomczak in Courtroom 405.
The court documents indicate that the Will County Sheriff's Office oversaw the investigation.

Ledesma also spent two days in the Will County Jail in late May 2024, when he was the focus of a Joliet Patch crime article headlined, "Reckless Driver On Caton Farm Road Attacks 2 Other Motorists: JPD."
At that time, Joliet police said that Ledesma engaged in reckless driving and then punched a man and a woman who were driving another vehicle, following a parking lot confrontation. Officers hauled Ledesma off to the jail, and he was charged with two counts of battery.

At 1:36 p.m., on May 7, 2024, Joliet police officers responded to a business parking lot in the 2300 block of Route 59 for a battery. A man and a woman who were traveling in a vehicle westbound on Caton Farm Road near Route 59 saw another person driving a Mazda driving recklessly in the area.
The victims pulled into a nearby parking lot and were followed by the Mazda, which was driven by Ledesma, according to Joliet police.
According to Joliet police, the driver of the Mazda approached the passenger side of the victim’s vehicle where the man was seated and began cursing at him, telling him to exit. Ledesma then tried to punch the male victim through an open window. The victim exited the vehicle, and he and Ledesma struggled on the ground. The female victim exited the vehicle to intervene, and she was struck in the face by Ledesma, who then sped off in the Mazda. Both victims were uninjured.
