Obituary: Patricia Ann (McCulloch) Coop

A lifelong Joliet-area resident, she is survived by 2 daughters, 2 grandchildren, nieces and grandnieces and nephews.

At age 85. At rest Thursday, May 26, 2022 at LIghtways Hospice Unit.

Born in Joliet on May 2, 1937 to the late Thomas and Geraldine (Burns) McCulloch. She was a lifelong Joliet area resident.

Attended Sacred Heart School and Providence Catholic High School. Worked as a machine operator at various factories including, Phillips Control, Messengers and Applied Wiring Components. Also as receptionist at McKeown Law Firm.

She enjoyed reading, and crafting including sewing and crocheting.

Was a member of Joliet Rivals Club Ladies Auxiliary Club, Kingsway Kickers and Crest Hill Civic Women’s League.

Surviving are two daughters, Kathleen Luehrs of Crest Hill, and Susan (James) Carey of Joliet. Two grandchildren, Michael (Sophia) and Margaret Carey of Joliet. Two nieces, Annette Deininger and Michele (Thomas) Gottfreid. Godmother to Michele. Several grand nieces and nephews.

Proceeded in death by her parents, and one sister Nelly (William) Deininger.

Graveside services will be August 5, 2022 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Immaculate Cemetery, Plainfield with a luncheon to follow.
