Overturned Flatbed Snarls Traffic At I-80, Larkin
The driver was injured and taken to a nearby hospital Thursday morning.
CREST HILL, IL — Traffic was rerouted early Thursday morning after a flatbed truck overturned on westbound I-80 near Larkin Avenue.
State police said all westbound lanes of I-80 were closed after the truck overturned just after 5 a.m. The lanes remained closed as the truck was removed until around 7 a.m., according to police.
The semi driver was taken to an area hospital with injuries, state police said.
